Overview

The CosMOS is the latest addition to Atik’s growing portfolio of CMOS sensor cameras.  Utilising the Sony IMX 455 sensor, the CosMOS is our most advanced CMOS camera to date, with its  60 megapixels enabling it to be well suited for high resolution images the CosMOS camera breaks through the boundaries of what is traditionally expected from CMOS cameras.

Taking its name from the meaning for viewing the Universe as a well ordered collective, the camera lives up to its name through offering some of the defining features of CCD astrophotography cameras in a CMOS form whilst also seamlessly integrating with Atik’s advanced software solutions to deliver a complete experience for the astrophotographer.

The CosMOS is the latest addition to Atik's growing portfolio of CMOS sensor cameras.  Utilising the Sony IMX 455 sensor, the CosMOS is our most advanced CMOS camera to date  with its  60 megapixels enabling it to be well suited for high resolution images and therefore allowing the CosMOS to break through the boundaries of what is traditionally expected from CMOS cameras.

In addition to offering some of the defining features of CCD astrophotography cameras in a CMOS form, the CosMOS also seamlessly integrates with Atik's advanced software solutions to deliver a complete experience for the astrophotographer. Futhermore, the CosMOS has a built-in USB hub and as always comes with the peace of mind that Atik's superior build quality offers.
